Star for Life (SFL) Jerusalem focuses on the advancement of better opportunities for Palestinian residents of East Jerusalem . SFL foundation is considered a channel for donors that share the same interest as SFL and who want to see substantial and positive changes In Eastern Jerusalem . The SFL Jerusalem Foundation is a neutral foundation headed by the Swedish IT entrepreneur Dan Olofsson and during the next decade, it aims to empower Palestinian residents of East Jerusalem through education, hi-tech and employment. We have developed a five-year plan for three projects: Education, JobHub and Sigma Labs.
The foundation’s achievements in the coming years will depend on how much funding we receive. More funding means we can upgrade our programs and with less means a downward adjustment.

A Dynamic event celebrating Local and International High-Tech Partnerships. Our event featured insightful discussions on the high-tech industry, with speakers including Mr. Rajai Nussibeh, Managing Director of Sigma Labs; Mr. Anan Qubti, CEO & COFounder of SynergyMed; Rana Qutineh Director of JEST Hub; and Mr. Haitham Tahboub CEO H.T Apps. Additionally, we celebrated the achievements of our attendees with a graduation ceremony, recognizing their successful completion of various courses.
SFL – JobHub, in collaboration with YWCA Jerusalem, successfully organized a Career Day event in Sheikh Jarrah on September 16, 2023, to connect job seekers with potential employers and create opportunities for professional growth, with over 180 participants in attendance. These participants included job seekers, students, and professionals from various backgrounds and industries,all eager to explore potential career opportunities. The event featured 34 employers representing a wide range of sectors, including education centers, coffee shops, restaurants, banks, hotels, tourism agencies, and high-tech organizations.
The Star for Life Foundation in Jerusalem focuses on the advancement of better life opportunities for all inhabitants of East Jerusalem, so that, in the long term, they can build a brighter future for themselves and their families.
